Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a deeply transformative, body focused technique and practice that utilizes eye positioning to access and process traumatic
memories, emotions, and physiological imprints held in our brain/body. By using organic eye positioning, we tap into the deeper brain, the limbic system and brainstem, where our survival responses, memories and alarm patterns live. From there, we begin to gently unwind what's been held, creating space for greater nervous system regulation and a
return to balance.

One of my favorite aspects of Brainspotting is how adaptable it is and how easily it combines and compliments with other trauma focused evidence based practices, such as IFS and SE, creating a greater opening and opportunity for deeper and more efficient processing.
